Six year old Anita was happy to report that she loved the soy milk she was served with her morning breakfast.

In conjunction with Food for the Poor and Caritas Guatemala, the World Soy Foundation has provided high-protein soybeans to seven local organizations providing much needed nutrition to kids in need. With support from the World Soy Foundation these Guatemalan organizations will be able to continue to provide soy protein to the 2,110 children they serve.  Six year old Anita, a recent beneficiary of the donation, was happy to report that she loved the soy milk she was served with her morning breakfast!

All of these organizations process the soybeans into soy milk as well as other soy-based foods including donuts, bread, tortillas, pancakes and cookies.  This donation of soy protein reaches kids in low-income daycare centers as well as children living around, and working in, the local landfill.  Many of these organizations also sell a portion of the soy products they produce to the surrounding community.  These community-led micro-enterprises not only provide affordable, nutritious foods to members of the community, but the profit made from sales helps to maintain the operating costs of the organizations serving the kids in need.

With your support, the World Soy Foundation can reach even more children.  Donate the value of ONE ACRE OF SOYBEANS today. Your gift will make a significant impact in the lives of children and families as the World Soy Foundation strives to reduce malnutrition through the power of soy.  Join the Acre Challenge and give the gift of protein today! DonateToday
