Throughout May, the World Soy Foundation (WSF) was busy with a variety of activities—but they couldn’t have pulled them off without the help and support of so many of you. The first activity was the WSF fundraiser for the new project “The Youth We Feed Can Lead.” With your help, as well as an anonymous donor’s matching funds, the WSF was able to raise more than $850 to fund a project that will help encourage youth to be agents of change—empowering, educating and nourishing communities in Guatemala. The WSF thanks those who joined in making this project possible. The WSF is excited to share more updates with you as the project unfolds in the coming months! To learn more about this “The Youth We Feed Can Lead” check out this informational video HERE.
The WSF also thanks those who joined in the Twitter Q&A on #WorldHungerDay. The Q&A titled “International School Feeding: Soy as a Hunger Solution” addressed topics such as government involvement in school feeding, soy as a benefit for diets and much more. To check out the entire summary of the discussion, visit the WSF website and look for the link in the left column on the homepage.
BIG THANK YOU to all WSF supporters—you are helping to continue furthering the mission of reducing malnutrition around the world through the power of soy! For the month of June, be sure to check the WSF out on Facebook, Twitter (@TheWSF) and YouTube to see some great stories and stay up-to-date!
