World Soy Foundation’s Acre Challenge Campaign gets Boost at ASA Meetings

Dec 12, 2013

At last week’s American Soybean Association (ASA) meetings in St. Louis, ASA Board members and other “soy family” members accepted the Acre Challenge by generously giving the value of one or more acres of soybeans. This provided an early boost to the recently launched FY14 Acre Challenge Campaign. WSF

During a report to the ASA Board, Board member Dave Poppens (SD) mentioned recent corporate gifts to the World Soy Foundation, including a generous donation from the John Deere Foundation. Fourteen ASA Board members responded to his appeal for the Challenge, pushing Acre Challenge donations for the new fiscal year over $13,000.

With their gifts, they are making a life-changing difference in the lives of malnourished children around the world through the Power of Soy and so can you.

The World Soy Foundation’s Acre Challenge Program is a way for you to help. With your support, the World Soy Foundation can reach even more children.  Donate the value of ONE ACRE OF SOYBEANS and give the gift of protein today!  (donate now button).

If you are a new donor, or are increasing your pledge from last year, those contributions will be matched, dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor. The Challenge to the Challenge expires Dec. 31.   Help us Reach our Goal—Accept the Challenge Today!

To accept the Challenge simply calculate the value of an acre of soybeans in your operation (yield multiplied by price).
