Ten members of the 2018 Young Leader Class, sponsored by Corteva Agriscience™, the agriculture division of DowDuPont, participated in the third phase of training in Washington, D.C. last week.
The training included participation in the American Soybean Association's (ASA) Board of Directors Meeting and Soybean Issues Forum, as well Hill visits with their state delegations. Young Leaders also met with key Corteva staff including Jerry Flint, Global Initiatives and Sustainability Leader; Aaron Whitesel; North America Government Affairs and Industry Leader; Matt Rekeweg, North America Government Affairs & Industry Affairs; Karis Gutter, North America Government & Industry Affairs, Jennifer Billings, Ag Development Leader; Tiffany Atwell, International Government Affairs Leader and Alyssa Sundell, Global Incentives and Sustainability Government Affairs.
Adam Guetter (Minn.); James Locke (Miss.); Tyler Clay (Miss.); Dane Diehl and Erica Wagenknecht (Mo.); Kevin & Brianna Deinert (South Dakota); Jordan Scott (South Dakota); Charlie Roberts (Tenn.); and Tanner Johnson (Wis.) participated in the third phase of the program.
