WISHH Chair Lucas Heinen Shares How WISHH is Helping U.S. Soy Markets

Jun 28, 2016

Building demand for U.S. soy is especially important with today’s farm economy says American Soybean Association's World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (ASA/WISHH) Program Committee Chairman Lucas Heinen. In a new video, Heinen describes WISHH’s role in growing demand for U.S. soy.

“If we want this market to change, we are going to have to find someone else to buy it…WISHH is a trailblazer for trade,” he said. Heinen explained how WISHH’s U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded FEEDing Pakistan is an example of how WISHH has built a new aquaculture market for soy-based feeds in Pakistan, the sixth most populous country in the world.
