Roberta Simpson-Dolbeare

Roberta Simpson-Dolbeare has a bachelor's degree in journalism/mass communications from Iowa State University. She is a graduate of the Illinois Ag Leadership Foundation. Roberta farms with her husband, Eric, and son-in-law, Drew Simonsen, and also owns a small retail store, Brookside Marketplace.

Roberta is vice-chair of the American Soybean Association’s World Initiative for Soy in Human Health (WISHH) committee and has served on the committee since 2016.  She is a former district director for the Illinois Soybean Association  and previously chaired the ISA Marketing Committee.

Simpson-Dolbeare continues her involvement with the Pike and Calhoun County Farm Bureaus, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and is a past chair of her local school and hospital boards.

She and Eric have two children and four grandchildren.
