Not only is NCAA basketball down to the finals, so is the ASA Recruiter All-Stars Tournament. Final brackets are set and the winners of the five brackets will be determined at the end of May.
The 2013 All-Stars Tournament has had two major upsets already this year with last year’s overall winner Jim Kukowski (Minn.) upset in Round 1 and Marvin Wahl (Kan.), the second-place finisher in 2012, upset in March by Caleb Ragland from Kentucky.
There will be five winners total, based on state size level. Two winners will come from Level 1 states (1,000 or more members), two winners will come from Level 2 states (300–999 members), and one winner will come from Level 3 states (50–299 members).
The winners of each bracket will be determined based on their recruiting activity during April and May. Each will receive a trip to Washington, D.C. and $300 cash, and will be recognized at the ASA Board Meeting in July.
