While the NHL and NBA begin their finals this week—the ASA All-Stars Recruiter Tournament is down to the final four for State Level 1 and State Level 2,  and State Level 3 bracket is down to the final two for bracket participants as it enters its fourth round.

The tournament began in December and will conclude at the end of September. Each round is two months.  Round three began on June 1 and will end on July 29. State Level 3 is a four-month battle beginning June 1 and ending Sept. 29.

The Round Four Bracket Participants:

State Level 1 Bracket A

• Robert Nelsen (Minn.) vs. Theresia Gillie (Minn.)
• Jim Kukowski (Minn.) vs. Mike Heffelfinger (Ohio)

State Level 1 Bracket B

• Jim Miller (Neb.) vs. Doug Bartek (Neb.)
• Robert Johnston (Neb.) vs. Doug Toreen (Minn.)

State Level 2 Bracket A

• Keith Tapp (Ky.) vs. Allen Pace (Ky.)
• Harvey Morken (N.D.) vs. Paul Casper (S.D.)

State Level 2 Bracket B

• Marvin Wahl (Kan.) vs. John Horter (S.D.)
• Jerome Schmitz (S.D.) vs. Kenneth Schulte (S.D.)

State Level 3 (June 1 through September 29)

• Tommy Hines (Va.) vs. Todd Dumond (N.Y.)

The All-Stars Recruiter Tournament continues to be a successful tool in member recruitment. During the first two rounds of the tournament, the participants have recruited or renewed more than 1,000 soybean producers. The tournament began with 144 of ASA’s top recruiters in five groups based on their state’s respective membership level. There will be a total of five winners and each will receive a $1,000 gift card.
