A group of Illinois soybean farmers and Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) staff participated in a trade mission to Mexico in late January in order to gain a better perspective of the end market for U.S. meat and, ultimately, Illinois soybeans. Ninety-two percent of soybean meal fed in Illinois goes to pork and poultry rations and Mexico is typically the largest importer of U.S. pork. Brock Willard, an ISA Soy Ambassador talks about the experience in this episode.
